Wolfa Album Launch ‘Sad Mannequin’

Mick Meagher (electric bass) and Jenny Barnes (voice) collaboration Wolfa have just finished their new album ‘Sad Mannequin’.

The album was made possible through the incredibly generous support of The Brunswick Green, Moreland City Band, Pughouse Studios and Scott Tinkler.

Wolfa takes a trip through violence, grief, rage, and injustice into calm, joy and pleasure. We are left with feelings of being bruised, knocked, washed and cleansed.

Subverting the gendered voice and exploiting the performativity of body, voice, and sound Wolfa plays hard to reveal softness and responsiveness along a frightened, feared and enraged path.
