Joyce Prescher

  • The Brunswick Green 313 Sydney Road Brunswick, VIC, 3056 (map)

Join us for an intimate matinee session with Joyce Prescher, bringing her songs to the Brunswick Green for the first time. She’ll be joined by Craig Kelly on bass and Duncan Yardley on fiddle.

Over the past two years, Joyce has been quietly working on a range of new material – including a side project with friend and musician Lachlan Bryan, with two singles released so far – while also appearing in a series of well-received tribute shows. It’s been a creatively rich stretch, and this performance offers a glimpse into that evolving body of work.

Dutch singer-songwriter Joyce Prescher writes introspective folk shaped by her European heritage and a gift for contemporary storytelling. Now based in Melbourne, she performs solo or with band in intimate configurations, delivering immersive and emotionally resonant shows marked by lyrical depth and calm intensity. A two-time Australian Folk Music Awards finalist, Joyce draws listeners into a quietly powerful world where melodies unfold slowly, leaving space for reflection long after the final note.
