Christopher Rozakeas is a fast-emerging trombonist and composer from Melbourne, Victoria. A sought-after instrumentalist in the local freelance space, he specialises in traditional and contemporary jazz styles. Chris has been refining his craft in the jazz idiom for over a decade and has won various accolades, including the being the recipient of the Geoffrey Whitelaw Monash Brass scholarship, a two-time James Morrison scholarship finalist and being accepted into the Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra for 2026. He’s collaborated with local and international jazz luminaries including Vince Jones, Shannon Barnett, Antonio Sanchez, Ingrid Jensen and Linda May Han Oh.
