Having quietly cultivated a reputation as one of Naarm's (Melbourne) more versatile session musicians, for the first time under his own name, Josh Martin embarks on his own artistic journey at The Brunswick Green.

As a songwriter Josh Martin writes with vulnerability, exploring introspective themes while simultaneously quietly and carefully examining the world around him. For the last four years he has lovingly and painstakingly written his debut EP "Walking Backwards" which explores his own introspective ramblings as an "occasional insomniac". Performing alongside him is long time friend, collaborator and co-producer Liv Mirrington (Sundial).
Joining Josh will be Jessie Forde. Queer love, longing, and change sit at the core of Jessie's songwriting. Based in Naarm, she crafts tender, nature-laced folk songs, luring listeners into confessional tales told amid the trees.

This event will take place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
